Request-Log-Analyzer 1.5.0 released

We just released version 1.5.0 of request-log-analyzer. New features include support for the MySQL slow query log, and autodetection of the current file format. Run gem update request-log-analyzer to upgrade to the new version.

MacRuby uses Request-Log-Analyzer

During his talk at RubyEnRails Eloy Duran showed that they were using Request-Log-Analyzer as a testcase for MacRuby. Request-Log-Analyzer does a lot of regular expressions, complex calculations and disk I/O, which makes its a very good test application. He also said he might be making a multithreaded version for MacRuby to use all of his cores. Looking forward to your pull request Eloy!

Scout is now offering rails monitoring through the request-log-analyzer gem. Statistics from rla are gathered and passed on to scout through a plugin.

Lightning talk at Euruko
